7 months agoI would recommend, it seems mostly for locals, but they were friendly to us as we were just in town at the time. Food was good for what we paid for, pretty cheap actually. Kosher is available at this establishment.

a year agoGabe and Karen do a great job at keeping this Sykesville landmark operating. Pizza is a silver front must have and the wings are Cooked to perfection. A stop at the silver front is always a good choice!

2 years agoFood is amazing! Good pricing! Great service! Sykesville's little hidden gem! Has plenty of room and what feels like two different atmosphere's. One side is the bar and TV, the other side feels like your grandma's home!

2 years agoOn our way to Anita, PA, we took a wrong turn. Just saw the Silver Front and decided to get lunch. Outstandingly clean bathrooms and great fish fry. Loved the people (friendly and Pennsylvania nice) and highly recommend. We gladly would make a wrong turn again.

4 years agoFood is amazing, owner/bartenders are very fun, personable, friendly, and engaging. over all homey feeling place to enjoy a few beverages, and still an environment safe for kids to be able to eat with their family without worry of a loud boisterous crowd.

4 years ago3.5-4 we had wings... Mild sauce was a bit salty. We asked for them to be fried a little crisp... Could have been just a little bit more but overall they were pretty good!

5 years agoGood food and service. Great prices, nice local restaurant. They have specials as well. My husband has ordered food to go from there since we were there.

7 years agoFood is excellent and everything is priced right. Whether you are a local or just passing through, this is a must stop. Don't let the street only parking or the exterior fool you. Bathrooms are SUPER clean so you know the kitchen is immaculate!! If you like haluski and pierogi, they have a buffet during Lent. Amazing!!
